Esporão made their mark in Alentejo - the most famous wine region in Portugal, southeast of Lisbon, also known for its rich and varied ecosystem and the growing of cork oak. The Esporão vineyards in Alentejo are spread across 691.9 hectares, growing around 40 grape varieties - the majority of which are ancient, traditional Portuguese varieties.
